The facility of Özgörkey Gıda on 1.000.000 m2 area with 100.000 m2 indoor area in Torbalı, İzmir has 100.000 tons of potato, fruit, vegetable, coated and bakery products processing capacity per year. 30.000 tons of packaged products can be stored in fully computerized cold storage depots which are in the structure of Özgörkey Gıda, the largest frozen food production facility in Turkey.

In the modern facilities where high technology is utilized, every stage of the production from raw material entry to storage is controlled by a computer network.

High Quality Standards

There is a total of four laboratories in the Quality Assurance Department of Özgörkey Gıda, these are Raw Material, Process Control, Microbiology and Final Product Laboratories.

Carrying out its activities in order to ensure the hight quality and customer satisfaction, Quality Assurance Department controls all stages of the production meticulously and ensures that the highest quality products are offered to the customers by conducting physical, chemical and microbiological analyses. In order to prevent potential risks beforehand by using a food production technology which guarantees consumer’s health beginning from raw material supply, it established ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and BRC (British Retail Consortium) quality and food safety systems in the production facilities.

Research and Development

By considering expectations, requirements and recommendations of its current and potential customers, Özgörkey Gıda continues its R&D works with continuous improvement and development activities.

Offering the firsts to the retail market in Turkey, R&D Team of Özgörkey Gıda carries out new product launching in a wide range of products from cakes to vegetables, from potatoes to the first “snack” products of the frozen food category.
